Our frameless shower screens use 8-10mm toughened safety glass meeting Australian Standard AS/NZS 2208, which specifies the breakage behaviour of glass used in human impact zones. Unlike standard glass, toughened safety glass shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than dangerous shards — a legal requirement in Australian bathrooms and an important safety consideration for family homes.

Screen configurations include single fixed panels for niched showers, pivot door enclosures, sliding door systems for alcove showers with limited swing space, and corner entry configurations for square shower bases. We also stock hinged shower doors for frameless walk-in setups that are popular in master ensuite renovations.

Frameless screens look the most contemporary and are the easiest to keep clean — no metal channels to collect soap scum and silicone. Semi-frameless designs, which use a frame around the perimeter but not the glass face, offer a middle ground between the clean look of frameless and the additional structural rigidity of a fully framed screen.
