Devanti Electric Heated Towel Rail Rack 6 Bars Freestanding Clothes Dry Warmer

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly does the Devanti heated towel rail warm up?

The Devanti Electric Heated Towel Rail heats up in just 3 to 5 minutes, so you'll have warm, dry towels ready in no time. It maintains a constant temperature between 40-50 degrees Celsius, which is warm enough to dry towels and clothes effectively without being too hot.

Is this towel rail suitable for Australian bathrooms and kitchens?

Yes, absolutely. The Devanti towel rail is designed specifically for Australian electrical standards, operating on AC 220-240V which matches Australian wall outlets. It features a waterproof switch making it safe for humid bathroom environments, and the anti-corrosion aluminium construction handles Australia's varied climates well. It's TUV certified for safety and uses just 100W of power, making it energy-efficient for Australian homes.

Do I need a professional to install it, or can I do it myself?

Installation is super simple—no professionals needed. It's freestanding, so there's no mounting or drilling required. Just position it where you want it in your bathroom or laundry, plug it directly into a wall socket (note: don't use an extension cord), and it's ready to go. This is one of the easiest heated towel rails on the market to set up.

What's the shipping and returns policy if I buy from Yarra Supply?

Yarra Supply offers a 30-day returns policy, so if you're not happy with the Devanti towel rail, you can return it within 30 days for a refund or exchange. The product also comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for peace of mind. For specific shipping details to your location in Australia, check with Yarra Supply directly on their website.

Can I use this to dry clothes, baby blankets, and other items, or just towels?

It's perfect for much more than just towels. The 6 heated rods are ideal for drying towels, clothes, baby blankets, and other fabrics. Many Australian families use them in laundries and bedrooms during winter months to speed up drying time and reduce reliance on dryers, which saves on energy bills.

How much space does it take up, and is it stable enough for a busy household?

The Devanti has a sturdy base that keeps it stable and freestanding, so it won't tip over easily. The cable length is 98cm, giving you reasonable flexibility in positioning near a power outlet. At this price point (AUD $71.95), it's a compact, affordable option that works well in bathrooms, laundries, or bedrooms without taking up much floor space.

Is the Devanti energy-efficient compared to other heated towel rails?

Yes, it's quite energy-efficient. It only uses 100W of power and operates at a steady 40-50 degrees Celsius rather than extreme temperatures, which means lower electricity costs over time. It's also quiet during operation, so you won't hear it running constantly. For Australian households looking to save on power bills, this is a practical choice, especially during winter months when you'd otherwise use electric dryers.
