Weisshorn 13ft Caravan Awning RV Replacement Fabric 3.65M x 2.42M

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is this Weisshorn caravan awning and will it fit my van?

This Weisshorn replacement fabric measures 3.65 metres wide by 2.42 metres long (roughly 13 feet), making it a popular mid-size option for caravans and RVs. It's compatible with most roll-out awning brands, so it should work with your existing awning frame regardless of whether you've got a pop-top campervan, traditional caravan, or motorhome. We recommend checking your current awning's dimensions before purchasing to ensure it matches this 365cm x 242cm fabric.

How long does delivery take from Yarra Supply and can it be delivered to remote areas?

Yarra Supply delivers throughout Australia, including regional and remote areas. Standard delivery typically takes 3-7 business days depending on your location. For specific delivery timeframes to your postcode, check your cart before purchase. If you're not completely satisfied with your awning fabric, Yarra Supply offers a 30-day returns policy, so you can shop with confidence.

Is this awning good for harsh Australian sun and rain?

Absolutely. The Weisshorn awning features premium 18oz PVC vinyl material with a UV rating of 4, which provides excellent protection against Australia's intense UV rays. It also has a water-repellent surface to handle heavy rain, and the well-ventilated design helps prevent condensation and keeps the area underneath cool during hot days. This makes it ideal for Australian camping trips from coastal escapes to outback adventures.

What's the difference between this and other caravan awnings I've seen?

The Weisshorn stands out due to its heavy-duty 1000D PVC construction with a tensile strength of 53N, making it more durable than lighter alternatives. At AUD $114.95, you're getting professional-grade material that typically costs more elsewhere. The package includes everything you need—plastic rods, RV awning clamps, pull straps, and an assembly manual—so there are no surprise costs. Plus, it comes with a 1-year warranty for peace of mind.

Is this difficult to set up, or do I need professional help?

Setup is straightforward and doesn't require professional installation. The package includes plastic rods and RV awning clamps that attach to your existing awning frame, plus a detailed assembly manual to guide you through each step. Most users can get it installed in under an hour. The pull strap makes it easy to extend and retract the fabric when you're setting up or packing down at the campsite.

Will this fabric fade quickly in the Australian sun?

No, the Weisshorn comes in a grey fade colour that's specifically designed to resist UV fading. Combined with its UV rating of 4 and premium vinyl material, you can expect the fabric to maintain its appearance for years with normal use. Regular cleaning and proper storage when not in use will further extend its lifespan.

What's included in the package when I order?

Your order includes the awning fabric (1x), three plastic rods, two RV awning clamps, a pull strap, and an assembly manual. Everything you need to replace your existing awning fabric is in the box—just match it up with your current frame and you're good to go.
